French Fancy

My holiday this summer was in the Dordogne, in the South Of France. I spent a week there and enjoyed the hot weather, stumbling across beautiful old rambling towns and picturesque views. I had a great time and thought I'd share some pictures!

The Journey

I've always loved getting a birds-eye view of the world, it's exciting to know how many different countries you are flying over, and that someone is probably watching you from the ground below.

The accommodation

The place I stayed was a scattering of sweet, stone cottages, with three pools and plenty of facilities such as tennis courts, volleyball etc.

Towns and travels

The accommodation was miles from anywhere, therefore many hours were spent in the car, however the destinations I visited were well worth it - not a tourist attraction in sight!

A gorgeous French sunset in the countryside.

Summery outfits like this seem too good to be worn in England!
Paisley smock dress - H&M
Brown skinny belt - H&M
Black buckled sandals - Primark

Overall, the holiday was a good combination of relaxation, culture and adventure, the South of France is the perfect destination for sunseekers yet is roughly only a two hour plane journey from England!
